Why FireFly Home Exists
FireFly Home was founded in 2020 in Columbia, Maryland, to solve a problem that every home cook knows: cleaning a stove top is miserable, and the one-size-fits-all liners sold on Amazon don't actually fit anything. They sag into burners, cover the ignition switches, bunch up around the grates, and come off looking worse than the stove they were supposed to protect.
We started FireFly Home because we believed there had to be a better answer — one designed specifically for your range, not a generic rectangle cut from a roll. Today, we design and sell custom-cut stove top liners for every major American range brand: Frigidaire, GE, LG, Samsung, Whirlpool, Maytag, and KitchenAid. Every liner is cut to match a specific model number, with precise cutouts for burners, grates, ignition switches, and control knobs — so it lies flat, stays put, and makes your stove look brand-new.
What Makes FireFly Home Different

Unlike the generic fiberglass protectors you'll find on Amazon or at big-box stores, FireFly Home liners are designed around a specific appliance model. If you own a Frigidaire Gallery Gas Range, we have a pattern cut exactly for that range. If you own a GE Profile electric cooktop, we have one for that too. Made from Restaurant-Grade PTFE-Coated Fiberglass
Our liners are made from 10mil PTFE-coated fiberglass, the same material used in commercial kitchens and industrial food processing. PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) is the non-stick coating that makes cleaning almost effortless — spills, grease, and burnt-on food wipe away with a damp cloth or rinse off in the sink. Our material is:
- PFOA and BPA free — safe for families and pets
- Flame retardant — rated for direct contact with gas cooktops
- Heat resistant — withstands normal cooking temperatures without melting, warping, or releasing fumes
- Dishwasher safe — pop it in the top rack when it needs a deeper clean
- Reusable — unlike disposable aluminum foil–style protectors that get tossed after every spill
Backed by a 1-Year Warranty
Every FireFly Home liner comes with a 1-year warranty. If your liner arrives damaged or fails under normal use, we'll replace it — no complicated returns process, no runaround.
FireFly Home vs Generic Stove Liners
Amazon generic fiberglass liners come in standard rectangles. You trim them to fit, they shift while you cook, and they don't protect the trim or ignition switches. FireFly Home liners are pre-cut for your exact range model — no trimming, no shifting, full coverage.
Reynolds Wrap–style aluminum protectors are disposable. You toss them after a few uses and buy another roll. FireFly Home liners are reusable for years, which is cheaper over time and dramatically less wasteful.
